The rupee traded almost flat on Thursday due to smooth supply of the dollars at the currency market, dealers said. The rupee ended 104.68 against the dollar at the interbank market as against the Wednesday’s close of 104.67.
Dealers said that dollar supplies were sufficient to cover the lackluster demand at the market.
Many dealers foresee the local unit to lose some grounds in anticipation of surge in demand for the foreign exchange by the importers to settle their imports.
