FAST Management School holds business strategy summit

The students of FAST School of Management, Islamabad Campus, organised a Business Strategy Summit (BSS) at the FAST National University, says a press release.
The objective of the summit was to provide an opportunity to entrepreneurs, senior executives, government officials and industrialists to share their business strategies that had made them successful. The summit consisted of two sessions one with the keynote speakers and a panel discussion session where the speakers got a chance to share their success stories and experiences with the audience which consisted students and guest from academia and industry.
The focus of the summit revolved around the components of business strategy. The event gave an excellent opportunity for the students to gain first-hand knowledge from the industry gurus. BSS’15 centered the event on ‘Strategies That Unfold Chapters to Success’ which was aimed to provide the future generation an idea about how imperative it is to formulate triumphant strategies.
Dr. Amir Muhammad, Rector of the FAST National University, in his address said, “people think about strategies in different way. Some people admit that they must plan for the present as well as for the future.”
The initiative taken by Usman Chaudhry, Assistant Professor at FAST School of Management left an excellent impact and gave students a learning experience which would prove to be helpful in their practical life in the near future.”
Speakers from diversified industries including Johar Saleem, Additional Foreign Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Ms Fizza Shahid, Director General Nadra, graced the event with their presence and shared their valuable knowledge with the audience.
Other significant personalities including Tanveer Sultan, Chairman of Hajvery Technologies; Saeed Ahmed Khan, Chairman OGRA; Mian Ayyaz Afzal, Managing Director Stock Exchange Islamabad; Dr. Muhammad Saleem, Director General Pakistan Telecommunication Authority; Abrar Ameen, CEO Project Development and Implementation; Salman Malik, CEO Telenor LDI Communications; Rehan Muneer Malik, CEO Incentives Leads (PVT) Ltd, and Syed M. Afif Zaidi, Director Technology SNL Pakistan, were also present and shared their expertise.
