ISLAMABAD: Ace leg spinner Yasir Shah has been declared fit as he fully participated in the skill camp on the opening day at the Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore.

Barring Mohammad Hafeez, all probable players for England Test series participated in the day-long field and net practice.

Yasir was allowed to fully participate in the practice.

A PCB official confirmed that Yasir took part in the field exercises. He also bowled at nets for considerable period.

Three weeks back he was declared unfit and was advised to undergo therapy.

Meanwhile, the selectors called up four players, pacers Ammad Butt and Hasan Ali and off spinners Bilal Asif and Hiddayullah, for practice at nets. “Four bowlers have only been called up to boost net training sessions. Pacers and off spinners were the requirement of the skill camp,” the official said.

In the absence of Mickey, who is expected to join the camp in a week’s time, the skill camp is being supervised by batting coach Grant Flower and bowling coach Mushtaq Ahmad.  Fielding coach Grant Luden also worked with the probable players.
