Transvestite murder case
PESHAWAR: The prime accused in the murder case of a transvestite, Alisha, was produced before the media on Sunday after being arrested late Saturday night.
Senior Superintendent of Police (Operations) Abbas Majeed Marwat told reporters that the prime accused in the murder of Alisha, Fazal Gujjar, was arrested during a raid in the suburbs of the city.
Superintendent of Police (City) Waseem Khalil and ASP Faqirabad Waseem Riaz were also present on the occasion. He said the accused had gone into hiding after committing the crime.Alisha sustained multiple bullets injuries when she was attacked in the limits of Faqirabad Police Station last week. She was taken to the Lady Reading Hospital, where she died after a few days. The police had arrested two relatives of the accused during raids on his house.
