Scattered rain forecast

MET Office forecast scattered rain with thunderstorm for today. Officials said seasonal low pressure area lay over north Balochistan with its trough extending north eastwards. A shallow westerly wave is passing over northern areas. The officials predicted mainly hot and dry weather in most parts of the country. However, they said dust-thunderstorms with rain were likely at some places of Malakand, Hazara, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Gujranwala divisions, Islamabad, FATA, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan. On Sunday, highest temperature recorded in the city was 34 C while humidity increased to 41 percent, MET Office report said.
