Islamabad
With the weather playing hide and seek in the capital city, Tuesday was mildly sunny on one occasion and windy and cloudy on the other.
Also, it drizzled in some localities with the city’s total rainfall during the last 24 hours totaling three millimeters.
Though it was a working day, the pleasant weather cheered up Islooites with some going sightseeing and others staying indoors in the evening.
Restaurants and cafés attracted large crowds, while sellers of samosa, pakora and jaleebi reported high sales, especially in the afternoon.
The Meteorological Office insists it will be mostly hot and dry weather in most plain areas of the country, including Islamabad, today (Wednesday).
It however forecasts thundershowers at few places in Azad Jammu and Kashmir and adjoining areas in the day.
The minimum and maximum temperatures recorded in the federal capital were 21 and 32 degrees Centigrade respectively. The humidity level was recorded 48 per cent.
