LAHORE
Punjab University Institute of Education & Research in collaboration with National Accountability Bureau (NAB), Lahore, organised a seminar on Anti-Corruption at Faisal Auditorium.
Additional Secretary Major (retd) Ghulam Rasool, Deputy Director, Awareness and Training Division, Muhammad Sajid, Prof Dr Mumtaz Akhtar, Prof Dr Saeed Akhtar, Prof Dr Abid Husain Chaudary, Dr Ahmad Sher, Dr Aroona Hashmi and faculty members were also present.
The students were urged to raise voice against bribery and corruption.
It was recommended during the discourses of seminar that literature regarding eradication of corruption should be incorporated in the curriculum at all levels of education. Dr Maher Saeed Akhtar urged to expand the scope of NAB.
Later, a walk was held to promote the anti-corruption awareness drive in which the faculty members and students participated.
