Teachers face action
Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore has asked the Higher Education Department Punjab to take action against some college teachers of the provincial metropolis for refusing to perform examination duties during the ongoing Intermediate Part-II Annual Examinations 2016.
A BISE spokesperson said these teachers included Dr Muhammad Shoaib, Sarfraz Ali Khan, Zaheer Abbas, Zafar Abbas and Yasir Usmani of Govt College Commerce, Muhammad Saeed and Sardar Muhammad of Govt College, Township, Abid Ali of Govt Islamia College, Railway Road, Ihtisham Ali and Khadim Hussain from Govt Dyal Singh College and Arshad Ali, Qarar Ali Bukhari and Abid Hussain of Govt College of Science, Wahdat Road. The spokesperson added the BISE had asked written to the department to take departmental action against the said teachers. —Correspondent
