MA/MSc exams from June 9

Punjab University Examinations Department has notified that the MA/MSc Part-II, Annual Examination 2016 will start with effect from 9-6-2016.
Meanwhile, Punjab University Examinations Department has declared the results of MA Islamic Studies Part-I Supplementary Examination 2015, MSc Applied Psychology Part-I Supplementary Examination 2015, MSc Mathematics Part-I Supplementary Examination 2015, MSc Statistics Part-I Supplementary Examination 2015 and MA English Part-II Supplementary Examination 2015.

book fair: Punjab University Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran Monday chaired a meeting of book fair coordination committee to review arrangements regarding the upcoming book fair to be organised by Punjab University administration from May 5 to May 7.
Heads of various committees gave a briefing regarding various measures for organising the book fair successfully.
Medical College: A delegation of teachers and students from Bolan Medical College, Balochistan visited Punjab University on Monday and called on Vice Chancellor Dr Mujahid Kamran at Al-Raazi Hall.
PU Registrar Dr Liaqat Ali, Dean Faculty of Life Sciences Dr Muhammad Naeem Khan, Baloch Student Izhar Hameed Baloch, Bolan Medical College’s team manager Dr Sadiq Kakkar, Dr Adam Hameed Baloch and others were present. In his address, Dr Mujahid Kamran welcomed the delegates and gave a detailed briefing on the history and various departments of the university.
The teachers and students from Bolan Medical College thanked the VC for providing facilities to the Baloch students.
Workshop: The inaugural ceremony of Punjab University Institute of Applied Psychology’s five-day training workshop on “Professional Development in Academia” for MS, MPhil and PhD students of Applied and Clinical Psychology was held on Monday.
Dr Saima Noreen from Goldsmiths University of London will deliver special lectures during the workshop while acting director, IAP Prof Dr Farah Malik, welcomed the guest.
The workshop is arranged and coordinated by Assistant Professor Dr Mujeeba Ashraf with the vision to introduce students with the contemporary trends of professional development in academia.
Director IAP Prof Dr Rukhsana Kausar facilitated for the workshop and Prof Dr Farah Malik appreciated the efforts of Dr Mujeeba Ashraf in conducting this workshop for the students.
