Lower Dir Council members stage walkout
TIMERGARA: The treasury and opposition members of the district council, Lower Dir, on Tuesday staged a walk out against the government’s failure to devolve power at the grassroots level.
The council’s session was held with district naib nazim Abdul Rashid in the chair. Addressing the session treasury and opposition members Maulana Imran, Shad Nawaz Khan, Alam Zeb, Fazal Qadir, Barkat Khan, Asif Aziz and Engr Mukhtiar Khan alleged the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government was not sincere to transfer powers at grassroots level.
