IGP visits residence of late Soran Singh

PESHAWAR: Inspector General of Police Nasir Khan Durrani on Tuesday went to the family residence of assassinated lawmaker Sardar Soran Singh.The IGP directed the RPO and DPO to provide fool-proof security to the family of Sardar Soran Singh.

The IGP also visited the new site for the Pir Baba Police Station. Realising the sensitivity and vulnerability of the area, he directed the DPO to coordinate with the deputy commissioner for launching the construction work at the earliest.

Later, the IGP visited the office of the DPO where a meeting was held to review the investigation of the case of the murder of Sardar Soran Singh.The IGP formed a special team headed by Malakand RPO and comprising DPO and CTD SP for day-to-day supervision of the investigation of this case.
