DDC approves Rs68.6m projects

TIMERGARA: The Lower Dir district development committee (DDC) on Tuesday approved Rs68.6 million for 55 development projects to be completed through Community Driver Local Development (CDLD), a European Union-funded project in the district.
Deputy Commissioner Irfanullah Wazir chaired the meeting held at Balambat Jirga Hall and attended by heads of various government departments.
The deputy commissioner directed the heads of government departments to expedite work on ongoing development projects. He also directed the concerned contractors to use quality building materials.He warned them of strict actions in case they were found negligent in construction work.
