A box of sweets

Nothing but a box of sweetmeats proved sufficient enough to devour the lives of more than twenty people in Layyah. The purchased sweetmeats turned out to be poisonous. The toxin was so intense that many people died on the spot.

The bakery owner deserves severe punishment. Any other criminals found involved in this case should also be tracked down so that nobody dares to repeat such negligence again. People are waiting to see what the district administration and the Punjab Food Department will do.
