Local governance
Nawaz Sharif has been busy announcing different development schemes, new roads, etc in Kotli Sattiyaan. One would like to draw the attention of the PM towards the pathetic condition of Kutchery Road, Pasrur. For the last two years, sewage water has been standing stagnant on the road. The people of the area, sick of the unhygienic conditions they live in, had blown open the main drainage line that had been completely choked after the tehsil municipal administration failed to heed their request of cleaning the drain.
The road houses a girls’ school and a timber market, and is the main route to Sialkot. The prime minister is requested that, in addition to concentrating on the development of Kotli Sattiyaan, he should also pay some attention to the construction of Kutchery Road and the necessary sanitary work along the road.
