Nisar proved PM’s declaration of assets was wrong: Aitzaz

ISLAMABAD: Leader of the Opposition in the Senate Aitzaz Ahsan on Tuesday said Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has proved that the declaration of assets of Nawaz Sharif was wrong.

Aitzaz claimed that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is visiting London to meet the PPP co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari to seek his support over the Panama Leaks. “Nawaz Sharif is going to London not for a medical check-up but to meet Asif Ali Zardari,” he said while talking to media persons here at the Parliament House.

In a reply to the press conference of Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar, he said it seems that he was always inmind of Nisar that’s why he used such a language against him. “Chaudhry Nisar may initiate investigation against me from any of his official but at the same time he should also tell about his assets and also that how much tax he has paid,” Aitzaz said.

He said he was thankful of Chaudhry Nisar that he told everything about the flat at Mayfair in London of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. “If Nawaz Sharif never hides his Mayfair flat then had he mentioned this flat in his asset declarations that were submitted to the Election Commission of Pakistan,” he questioned.
