Four killed in Lakki incidents
LAKKI MARWAT: Four persons were killed in firing and road-related incidents in parts of the district on Saturday.
“A man and his son were killed by their rivals over an old dispute in Chuharkhel,” said the police officials. They said the double murder incident occurred in the area limits of Shaheed Haibat Ali Khan Police Station of Darra Pezu town.
They said that Nazir Muhammad and his son Naseer Muhammad were going to fields when they came under attack by their opponents. “Both father and son sustained serious bullet injuries and later died on way to hospital,” an official maintained.
Police said that a case was registered against the killers including Akram, Aslam, Zardad, Qalamdad, Raheemdad and Ajab Khan under relevant section of law.
Meanwhile, two people were killed and two others were seriously wounded in a collision between two motorcycles on Masha Mansoor-Jhangkhel road.
The deceased were identified as an FC personnel Qudratullah, resident of Zangikhel and Ayaz, resident of Jhangkhel.
The wounded men including Akhtar Zaman and Rahim were taken to a hospital in Titterkhel wherefrom they were referred to Bannu in critical condition.
