FDE schools, colleges begin admissions to grade one

The Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) has announced the schedule of admissions to the first grade in all Islamabad model colleges and schools for academic session 2016-17.
The directorate will issue and receive registration forms until April 8 and conduct written tests on April 12.
The merit lists will be displayed at the respective schools and colleges on April 15, while the classes will start on April 20.
According to the directorate, the parents of children seeking admission must be the residents of Islamabad, while the children of those living in Rawalpindi but serving in government or semi-government organisations in Islamabad are also eligible to apply for admission.
The age of the candidates must be between five and six years on March 31, 2016 according to the 'B' form issued by Nadra.
The admission forms must be accompanied by the attested copies of the relevant documents, including vaccination certificates.
The admission forms can be obtained from the respective Islamabad model schools colleges and area education officers.
