Bar president, others join PML-Q

Sambrial Bar Association President Ch Azhar Nadeem Cheema advocate along with a delegation called on Pakistan Muslim League-Q senior central leader and former Deputy Prime Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi at his residence here Tuesday.

Admitting leadership qualities of Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi and measures taken by them for welfare of the lawyers, he announced joining the PML-Q along with his supporters. The delegation included Alfred Gill advocate, Ch Zahid Wakeel Bhatti advocate and Ch Sabir Bhatti advocate among others while PML-Q Central Secretary Information Senator Kamil Ali Agha and Nadir Manzoor Duggal advocate were also present on this occasion. Welcoming Ch Azhar Nadeem Cheema advocate in the party, Ch Pervaiz Elahi said that with their joining the party would be strengthened in Sialkot and Ch Azhar Nadeem Cheema and his colleague lawyers would play active role.

He said that the PML-Q had done exemplary works for the lawyer community during its government in the Punjab which the lawyers duly realised.
