Privatise

Time has proved that those companies that were in the government sector always turned out to be white elephants and a burden for the state. It has been found that those companies that were privatised became sleeker and more efficient like the HBL, UBL, PTCL and KE.

The glaring examples of PIA and the PSM are also before us – both are creaking under the burden of state ownership. If they are to be made profitable and more service-oriented, then the only way out for them is privatisation.
