Qilla Abdullah

In Balochistan’s Qilla Abdullah district, children are facing malnutrition and other health problems. Recently many polio cases are reported in the district. The only hospital in the district is without doctors, medicines and equipment, forcing people to go to Quetta for treatment.
There is also no proper education system, with the result that the children of this district are working as labourers to overcome poverty. Qilla Abdullah is strategically positioned and can serve as a conduit to Afghanistan and up to Central Asia – but nothing is being done to provide the people of this district with the basic amenities of life.
