Man dies in cylinder blast

LAHORE
A person died and three others received injuries when a gas cylinder exploded in a house in South Cantt police limits on Saturday.
Rescue officials said that the blast occurred in the house of Malik Arif in Badar Colony, Guldasht Town. As a result, the roof of a nearby house caved in. Muhammad Nazeer was trapped under the debris while Malik Arif and his two sons, Ali and Haroon received injuries.
A passerby called Rescue teams and police. They reached the spot and shifted the victims to a nearby hospital where the doctors pronounced Muhammad Nazeer dead.
Police removed the body to morgue for autopsy, collected forensic evidence from crime scene and recorded the statements of eye-witnesses.
