LAHORE: Amir Jamiat Ulema e Islam-Fazl (JUI-F), Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman Sunday said his party will actively participate in the upcoming general elections.

Addressing the members of his party's Central Council, Fazl said JUI-F would fight tooth and nail against those working on a foreign agenda in the next elections.

"JUI has been waging a struggle to protect the Constitution and so far we have been successful," he claimed.

Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman said JUI-F did not believe in the politics of disintegration rather it intended to take along all the sections of society.

"We will win big in the next general elections and then transform the country into a genuine Islamic state," the JUI-F Chief maintained.

Maulana for 8 years you supported a military dictator Musharraf who never favoured 'Islamic rule'. Religion if he had any, to him was a personal matter. Why don't you speak up against unislamic practices of Talibans & other terrorists? Speak for 200 Hazaras recently massacred in Quetta.

The number of killings in the name of Islam should make anyone understand that Pakistan has to rise above the Sunni/Shia and other sectarian disputes... These selfish and callous Maulanas can go and live in Saudi Arabia or Dubai and leave Pakistanis in peace.
