150 Army doctors to serve in Punjab

RAWALPINDI: Pakistan Army has announced to deploy its 150 doctors in the Punjab hospitals, Geo News reported.

 

According to ISPR, the doctors are being deployed on the request of Punjab government due to young doctors strike.

 

The army doctors will work in the uniform in the provincial hospitals and they will serve just for medical consultation while the civil officials will handle the administrative matters.

 

It may be noted here that due to strike of young doctors, Punjab government had requested for army doctors’ services in provincial hospitals.

Dear Ali, never mind if army is coming for help. In a way they are responsible for all this as well as bulk of the budget is gulped by the army. Compare the salaries of an army doctor and his counterpart in the civilian set up who may be workig in a much less friendly environment.

All are talking about the unprofessional behaviour of doctors.I wonder how many have actually looked into the concerns of these doctors, I am sure very few because if they would have, they will come to know the reality.This situation will NOT improve untill the cause is addressed.Its the pathetic and miserable attitude of governments thats causing this trouble.The day is not far away when other services of Pakistan will also resort to such strikes.Wait and see.

i think Goverment should take very strict action aganiest these doctors... they got free education from Goverment to serve thier poor peoples but now they ignored these poor peoples.. i think these all doctors should be banned in future, their MBBS degrees should be cancelled, they are not human as because of thes dotors many peoples lost thier lives....

Actually the PM of Punjab, Shehbaz should have been fired by army instead of providing the the doctors. This stupid is a diaster for the people of Punjab and Pakistan.
