ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) has nominated Sardar Mehtab Abbasi for the Office of Prime Minister, party's deputy general secretary Ahsan Iqbal told Geo News.

Mehtab Abbasi, is a former CM of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and an MNA from Abbottabad.

The position of prime minister fell vacant after Yusuf Raza Gilani was disqualified by the Supreme Court as Prime Minister and member of the parliament with effect from April 26, 2012.

The Nawaz group is nominating Abbasi just for the sake of giving some competition to the PP.No chance of him or Fazl being elected.

Mr. Saeed, I am agree with you, earlier I tried to post if this person looks like next Prime Minister? but The News didn't post my comments because they favour N league.

What a joke from PML N opposition leader is Chaudhry Nissar Khan and nomination for this guy. Why don’t Nawaz approve Zardari's nomination instead of fulfilling this formality?

This clearly is a glaring case of political Rishawat. Can't we have a better qualified person selected on pure merits for the top most post?
