Blind persons’ protest hinders Lahore metro bus operations

LAHORE: Blind persons staged a sit-in protest on Ferozpur Road, bringing operations of the Metro bus to halt and leaving commuters among others troubled.
The visually impaired people recorded their protest on The Mall and Ichhra earlier this week.
They complained that the government promised them jobs but never fulfilled its promise. They vowed to continue their protest until they were given appointment letters.
