Karachi: Eight more gunned down in overnight violence

KARACHI: At least eight people were killed and three others injured in the fresh wave of targeted killings in different parts of the city on Wednesday, Geo News reported.

 

According to police, a man who was shot and injured in Baldia Town’s Sector 19-D succumbed to his injuries at a local hospital.

 

A man was killed near Wireless Gate on Shahra-e-Faisal while unknown assailants shot dead another man in Lines Area. The deceased were identified as Kalam and Khurram, 25.

 

The police said three bodies bearing severe torture marks were found near Jamia Milia, Pak Colony and Mewa Shah Graveyard. respectively.

 

Another incident of firing occurred at Korangi Crossing where a man was killed.

 

All the bodies were taken to the Jinnah Hospital for medico-legal formalities. Three people were injured in Arambagh Docks and Malir-15 in firing incidents.
