PESHAWAR: The Peshawar High Court (PHC) has granted bail to former principal of Ayub Medical College and Higher Education Regulatory Authority member Dr Muhammad Ayub.
He was arrested on charges of registering substandard medical colleges and embezzlement of funds.
Ayub’s counsel told the court that the NAB had arrested his client on charges of registration of an illegal medical college in Abbottabad.
The lawyer said that because Dr Ihsan Ali and others in the case had been granted bail, his client should also be given bail.
