Islamabad: The Roots International School (RIS) has achieved five 'Microsoft Innovative Expert Educator' titles.
The Roots International Schools have been selected by Microsoft to be a member of the Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert (MIE Expert) Programme for 2015-2016. RIS is happy to be a part of this incredible group of thousands of educators from over 100 countries around the globe. Each year, Microsoft selects innovative educator experts to share ideas, try new approaches and learn from each other through a global community dedicated to improving student outcomes through technology. “Microsoft Innovative Educator Experts are inspiring examples of educators applying new ways of teaching and learning in their classrooms that motivate students and empower them to achieve more,” said Anthony Salcito, Vice President, Worldwide Education, Microsoft.
As an MIE expert, over the course of the next year RIS is expecting the ability to test new products while in beta form, exclusive professional development opportunities, participate in focus groups giving feedback to development teams on Microsoft products and eligibility to be one of the 300 MIE Experts who attend the Microsoft in Educator Exchange Event (E²), in Budapest, Hungary - March 2016.
