Shoaib Khurram said that light vehicles coming from T-Cross would be allowed to enter Rawalpindi which could use Kutcheri Road, Mall Road and Convoy Road, Golra and IJP Road for proceeding towards Islamabad and Peshawar. Moreover, people wanting to proceed to Islamabad from Murree Road would be allowed to use Double Road, 9th Avenue and IJP Road.
Heavy Traffic coming from GT Road would be stopped at Gujrat, Jhelum Bridge and Toll Plaza of Mandra. Similarly, Road from Karaal Chowk to Faizabad and linking Road leading to Express Way would be closed for all kind of traffic which would be diverted to other alternative routes.
