Two terrorists convicted

LAHORE
An anti-terrorism court judge, Haroon Latif, Tuesday awarded a total 70-year jail to two terrorists affiliated with Tehreek-i-Taliban (TTP) Pakistan over charges of keeping explosives to be used in terrorist activities.
The court convicted TTP associates Muhammad Mausa and Adeel. The court directed the authorities concerned to confiscate moveable and immovable assets of the convicts.
The court awarded 14-year jail term on two counts to each convict under Section 7 of the Anti-Terrorism Act. The court has also awarded further 7 years jail term to the each convict under Section 4 (Punishment for attempt to cause explosion or for making or keeping explosives with intent to endanger life or property).
