Many restaurants, eateries sealed

Punjab Food Authority (PFA) continued its drive against adulterated and unhygienic food and its sellers across the city and sealed several hotels, restaurants and eateries here Friday.
Officials said Samanabad Town’s team of PFA sealed Kashmiri hotel at Morr Samanabad for unhygienic conditions and expired food items. Later the team raided Kozi Haleem at Gulshan-e-Ravi and also sealed it for various violations. The team also sealed Ali Pan Shop, Haji General Store and Wajid General Store at Nadeem Shaheed Road for operating without food licence. The team also fined But Shahi Nashta House, Khalil Cooking Center and Hafiz Juice for different violations. In Nishtar Town, PFA’s team sealed Shahid Resturant at Kahna Nau. The team also got an FIR registered against the management of the restaurant for offering resistance and stopping government officials from performing official duties. In Aziz Bhatti and Wahgah Town, teams sealed Ahmed Ali Pan Shop and Ahmed Milk Shop for operating without food licence.
