In a meeting, Saleh Muhammad Hashmi, Hafiz Muhammad Akbar Jatoi, Tanvir Khan, Saeed Chishti, Qari Ishaq Madni, Ashraf Raza Qadri and Dr Imran Yusuf said it was a tragedy for the whole Islamic world.
They urged religious leaders not to speculate on the issue as it would give an opportunity to enemies of Islam to criticise.
