Class 5, 8 exams registration from 12th

Punjab Examination Commission (PEC) has announced that registration for Class-5 and Class-8 Annual Examination 2016 will commence from October 12.
A PEC spokesperson said the registration would continue till November 7. He said all government and private schools would ensure registration of their students, adding PEC would not charge any registration fee from the candidates.
The exams are expected to be held in the first week of February 2016.
seminar: A one-day seminar on “Navigating the Future of Community Pharmacy in Pakistan – Breaking Barriers and Developing Possibilities” was held at the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) on Thursday.
UVAS Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Talat Naseer Pasha chaired the inaugural session of the seminar while Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences Director Dr Farzana Ch, Muhammad Irfan Motala and a large number of faculty members, senior pharmacists and students were present on the occasion.
Irfan Motala described the role of pharmacist for community about the rational use of drug and medicine.
UHS: The 106th meeting of Advanced Studies and Research Board of the University of Health Sciences (UHS) was held on Thursday with Vice-Chancellor Prof Junaid Sarfraz Khan in the chair.
According to a press release, the board considered the thesis reports of Dr Fouzia Qureshi MPhil (Anatomy), Dr Mubasher Razzaq Khan MPhil (Haematology), Abdul Waheed MPhil (Microbiology), Dr Zunaira Jawaid MPhil (Morbid Anatomy & Histopathology), Dr Maliha Shahbaz MPhil (Oral Biology), Dr Fauzia Khan MD (Cardiology), Dr Mubushar Manzoor Alam MD (Cardiology), Dr Sohaib Akbar MD (Internal Medicine), Dr Waqas Ahmed MS (General Surgery), Dr Sajid Iqbal MS (Urology), Dr Burhan Khawar MD (Cardiology), Dr Khola Ahmed Khan MPhil (Oral Pathology) and Dr Aftab Ahmed Khan MDS (Operative Dentistry).
