The delegation of Pakistani high-achievers visited University of Uppsala and KTH Royal Institute of Technology Sweden.
According to a handout issued on Thursday, the administrations of both institutions briefed the delegation about different faculties and courses being offered. The position holder students also visited University of Stockholm Sweden. Director International Office Karim Granville and Kimberley Cheng from admission office received the delegation and made presentation on this occasion.
Ambassador of Pakistan in Sweden Tariq Zameer hosted a reception in honour of Pakistani students. The members of Pakistani community also participated in the reception. Expressing their views on this occasion, the toppers said study tours of foreign universities were a source of learning for them and its credit went to Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif. They said the education-friendly steps of Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif were laudable. Later, the toppers visited University of Lund which was one of the top leading universities of the world. The faculty of the university welcomed the students and briefed about its working and courses which were being offered. The students also briefed different departments about the university and showed their keen interest in the educational activities of the university.
