Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf Punjab organiser Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar has said Punjab had become a stronghold of the party and it will win upcoming local bodies and general elections.
Talking to Opposition Leader in Punjab Assembly Mian Mahmoodur Rasheed, former PTI Lahore president Abdul Aleem Khan, ISF president Farrukh Habib and others, who had come to congratulate him on becoming party’s organiser at his residence on Sunday, he said youth and women were the lifeline of the PTI and would be given their due status in the party. He said the incumbent and previous rulers had pursued a one-item agenda of plundering and the country could progress only after eliminating corruption and injustices.
He said the PML-N and PPP had only hoodwinked the nation and could not resolve corruption and loadshedding issues that had pushed people against the wall. He said the masses could not tolerate the PML-N rulers anymore.
He said the PTI wanted to enforce a system that could provide people with their basic rights including health, education and sanitation.
