University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Talat Naseer Pasha has said the support staff has a major role in the development of an organisation.
Addressing the members and newly-elected office-bearers of the varsity’s Non-Teaching Staff Association (NTSA) on Wednesday, he further said UVAS had always given an equal importance to the support/lower staff and their issues were addressed on priority basis.
MPA Majid Zahoor and former MPA Ajasim Sharif, Registrar Dr Muhammad Afzal, NTSA’s new office-bearers, including President Qazi Muhammad Akram, Naeem Ahmad Choudhary (Senior Vice-President), Muhammad Arif (Vice-President), Besharat Choudhary (General Secretary), and Muhammad Aslam Siddique were also present.
Qazi Akram presented the agenda of the association for the welfare of the employees.
Majid Zahoor lauded the efforts of UVAS for the promotion of education and research and its role in the development of livestock sector.
