The first ever modern calligraphy workshop in any art gallery in the provincial metropolis started at the Ejaz Art Galleries, MM Alam Road on Friday.
The unique and absolutely free three-day event in the world of art is a new initiative started in any private sector art gallery which is being conducted by the famous young artist and calligraphist, Bin Qalandar, which will conclude on Sunday.
The event attracted over 80 participants of all ages and belonging to different walks of life. Men, women and youngsters, students from prime educational and art schools, housewives, men and women of all ages attended. The skills of new talent would be polished through the workshop. The over 80 participants would jointly paint a large calligraphic painting that would be exhibited in the exhibition. The closing ceremony of the workshop would be held on Sunday.
