Capital IGP reviews security arrangements for March 23 Parade

Islamabad: IGP Aamir Zulfiqar has directed all police officers to ensure foolproof security arrangements, on the occasion of 23rd March, Pakistan Day Parade of armed forces, a police spokesman said Wednesday. During a meeting, the IGP directed that IBOs should be continued in the premises of Parade Avenue in particular, while the rest of outermost cordon areas in general. Hotels, motels, rest houses and madaris must be checked out on daily basis. In this regard, DIG (Security) and DIG (Operations) have already been directed to review overall security plan for upcoming event.
