It was sad to learn that Indian authorities have refused to issue pilgrim visas to 500 Pakistani devotees visiting Ajmer Sharif, India. On the other hand, Pakistani authorities have issued 5,600 visas to Sikh pilgrims to attend the Vaisakhi Mela and 312 Hindu pilgrims in 2019. The steps taken by Indian authorities highlight the extremist face of India.
I have been to Ajmer in 2015 to attend the urs of Sufi Saint Khwaja Gharib Nawaz and it was a great experience. India should reconsider its decision and issue visas to Pakistani devotees.
