A LARGE number of Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf activists, aspiring candidates and former ticket holders attended voters training workshop organized by PTI Lahore members on Sunday.

 

Main speakers of the workshop included Eng Ejaz Chaudhry, Mian Mehmood Ur Rasheed, Dr Yasmeen Rashid and Malik Zaheer Abbas Khokher. They said they would continue the mission for bring change in country under the banner of PTI.

 

They7 termed the practice of intra party elections in PTI as historic and held the view that party members must vote for ideological people not ‘opportunists’ in this process. Mian Mehmood Ur Rasheed, who is heading ‘Nazriyati’ group in the intra party election, stated that not offices but commitment and loyalty were important things for him. He said that for last several years, the committed PTI workers had been in struggle against the elements clinging to power and snubbing the rights of people. He said in the intra party elections, the committed members of party were all out to defend the ideology of PTI and would defeat the exploiters every time. Ejaz Chaudhry, another senior PTI leader on the occasion said the entire party had unanimously endorsed Imran Khan’s decision of holding elections within the party which would provide a very good opportunity to bring forward committed party workers on important offices. The PTI members from Lahore who attended the workshop included Chaudhry Asgher Gujjer, Yasir Gilani, Sadia Saif, Shaukat Shah, Rana Akhter, Ali Imtiaz Warraich and others.
