Target killers claimed two lives in the city on Tuesday.
The first victim was 35-year-old Ijaz who was shot dead in Sector 11-C of North Karachi by two gunmen riding a motorcycle. Area people took him to the Civil Hospital Karachi, however, he breathed his last on the way.
A police official claimed that it was a targeted killing and empty casings of a 9MM pistol were found on the spot. The second incident took place near the Karimabad Flyover, where 30-year-old Rehan Sultan was killed by unidentified gunmen.
Azizabad SHO Jamal Laghari told The News that the deceased was a carpenter who lived in Jahangirabad, Golimar. He said the body was shifted to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for a post-mortem and added that the murder was most likely a target killing incident.
