Two KMC officials suspended

City commissioner Shoaib Ahmed Siddiqui on Friday suspended two officers of the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) for surrendering in a case pertaining to 46 plots of Hill Park without the approval of competent authority.
Officers Hafiz Mugheera Rabbani and Saba Sabir were suspended while another senior official Tahir Jamil was issued a show-cause notice for, “inflicting damage worth billions of rupees to the government,” by surrendering in favor of the parties (PECHS and others) who had filed a case regarding the plots in the court.
