Three Muttahida Qaumi Movement workers were identified by witnesses in two cops’ murder cases on Tuesday.
Farhan Shabbir alias Farhan Mullah was produced in the court of Judicial Magistrate (East-VI) where he was pointed out as the man who killed Head Constable Ehsan Raza in 2006. The identification parade lineup had 12 men, of whom the witness identified Farhan. A day earlier, an anti-terrorism court had extended Farhan’s remand till May 9.
Two more MQM workers – Naeem alias Guddu and Habeeb – were identified by a witness before another judicial magistrate as the men who shot dead a policeman, Zeeshan Akram, in the Saudabad area in 2007.
