Lahore Stock Exchange remained bearish on Tuesday, as the LSE-25 Index declined by another nine points to close at 5,495 points.
Trading volumes were lower than those recorded a day ago. Of the 30 companies traded, the value of seven increased; 21 declined, while two companies were traded at the same value. Trading volume was 1.56 million shares, lower than the trading of 2.21 million shares recorded a day ago. Silk Bank was the volume leader with a turnover of 1.19 million shares. Highnoon Laboratories was the major gainer with an increase of Rs22.45 per share. Treet Corporation was the top loser with a decline of Rs2.93 per share.
