KARACHI: MOL, the operator of TAL Block has encountered oil and gas discovery during the third and fourth Drill Stem Test (DST) at Hungu and Lockhart formation of Mardankhel-1, a company statement said on Monday.
The two tests encountered cumulative oil and gas discovery of 1,910 barrels per day and 23.2mmcfd of gas, it said.
The production is expected to come online in the second quarter of 2016. A bourse filing also said that the actual flow rate of this discovery may differ, going forward.
