Woman gives birth to a baby outside hospital

TOBA TEK SINGH: A woman gave birth to a baby in a car outside the DHQ Hospital when lady doctors and staff at the hospital allegedly refused to admit her.

Fauzia Bibi told reporters that her relatives brought her from Pirmahal and the doctors and staff allegedly refused to admit her and directed her to visit any other health facility. When her relatives tried to shift her to another hospital, she felt pain and delivered a baby outside the hospital. Her relatives demanded action against the responsible doctors and staff. When contacted, DHQ Hospital MS Dr M Khalid said her relatives were advised to arrange blood but they planned to shift her to some other hospital instead of arranging the blood.

MAN FOUND DEAD: A villager was found dead under mysterious circumstances on Samundri Road at Gojra on Thursday night. The Gojra Sadr police were informed about the dead body on Gojra-Samundri Road. The autopsy showed nine bullets were fired at the body. Reportedly, District Police Officer (DPO) formed a police experts team to probe the incident.
