LALAMUSA: Pakistan People’s Party information secretary Chaudhry Qamar Zaman Kaira has said that the recent statement of Muttahida Qaumi Movement chief Altaf Hussain has hurt the sentiments of the people.
Talking to newsmen at Dera Kaira on Monday, he said: “We believe in solving the political issues but Altaf Hussain is inviting India, the UN and the US, which is unacceptable to the people.” He said that every Pakistani, including children, was ready to sacrifice their lives for the country. He criticised Altaf Hussain for delivering provocative speeches. He said that the Karachi operation was launched on the suggestion of Altaf Hussain but now he was criticising it. Kaira welcomed the statement of Interior Minister Nisar Ali Khan and said that he was with him if he took any action. He said that the national institutions should not be ridiculed.
Kaira said that the rigging allegations leveled by the Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) were correct, but the way adopted by its leadership was not correct. He said that the general elections had also been rigged in the past. He said that Iftikhar Chaudhry destroyed all the institutions, including the judiciary.
