Pakistan to implement UNSC resolution on Yemen: FO
Deplores use of force against peaceful Kashmiris by forces in Held Kashmir

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Friday said it would take every possible measure to fully implement the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) resolution on Yemen in line with its international obligations. In a statement, the Foreign Office spokesperson Tasneem Aslam said the UNSC adopted the resolution on Yemen under Chapter VII of the UN Charter.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued SRO 324(I) 2015 in exercise of powers conferred by Section 2 of the United Nations (Security Council) Act 1948 (XIV of 1948) to implement assets freeze, travel ban and arms embargo and other related obligations in accordance with the relevant provisions of the UNSC resolution on Yemen in this regard, she added.
Meanwhile, Pakistan extended diplomatic, political and moral support to Kashmiris’ struggle for self-determination as sanctified by the UNSC resolutions.The spokesperson deplored the brutal use of force by the security forces against peaceful and unarmed Kashmiris in the Indian Held Kashmir.
