LB shame

The first party-based local bodies elections in the federal capital were held after 65 years. This extraordinary delay is shameful as well as inexplicable. If a nation takes more than 65 years to implement a rudimentary principle of democratic order, how can it survive a world dominated by predatory vultures looking for loopholes to target a failing state?
Something has to be done to rescue the crumbling state from plunging into extinction. There is no need to debate constitutionalism and the principles of parliamentary democracy when the country is simmering towards a political eruption.
