Careless climate

The position of the head of the Ministry of Climate Change has been vacant since August 2014. This reflects the careless and negligent attitude of the government towards this issue.
Pakistan is ranked amongst the top ten countries exposed to climate change with losses amounting to $20 billion. The prime minister must take notice of this issue immediately and nominate a competent person who can not only represent Pakistan sturdily, but also come up with a robust mechanism for the country to pursue. The world is treating the problem of climate change seriously; we need to do the same.
